PIX: A Photography Quarterly titled Recovery, opening at the Japan Foundation on Saturday March 9 at 6 pm. There will be photo presentations by two featured photographers, Niha Masih and Zishaan Akbar Latif.
The photographers featured include Binh Dang, Soumyadip Ghosh, Talia Herman, Zann Huizhen Huang, Alok Johri, Aditya Kapoor, Zishaan Akbar Latif, Mitsu Maeda, Niha Masih, Paolo Patrizi, Bindi Sheth and Prasiit Sthapit. The contributions range from a comparative view of present day Kashmir, a chronicle of the recovery of victims from the Vietnam War, images of the aftermath of the tsunami in Japan, to personal narratives associated with the theme.

Breaking Rules photography workshop in the Arabian Sea.
Learn the basics of photography with photographer Kaushik Chakravorty as he takes you to a different location every Sunday. This Sunday its shooting mumbai from the Arabian Sea point of view. The workshop will happen on a road that goes all the way into Arabian sea. Absolute amateurs are welcome as we start right from the basics. You must have a camera to participate.
