October Photo of the Month: Results out!

alt

The absence of a theme for our monthly contest has its benefits as it treats us to a kaleidoscope of imagery that represents the varied genres of photography. And the October Photo of the Month was no different as it showcased everything from wildlife to abstract photography. Judging the contest this time was ace photographer, Pravin Talan who spent a considerable amount of time to pick the final images. Choosing the winning image was especially difficult as it was a split decision between the first and second place. So here they are, the final winners decided by our judge, the Fotoflock editors and the votes of the flock.

Praveen About the Judge: Pravin Talan, an Agra born Mumbai-based photographer tried his hand at a fair few professions before realising that photography was his true calling. And in photography too, he has professionally shot in pretty much every genre there is. His work has been exhibited across the globe including London, Toronto, Naples and the Caribbean.

WINNER!

“The primary consideration for my evaluation has been the unusualness of the subject and the composition. The 'train mural' picture is unusually powerful with its own story.”
