The buzz surrounding the August POTM contest was incredible. And why not, it was the last chance for Fotoflockers to take part in India’s biggest photo contest, Fotoflock Photo of the Year 2010. So to help us choose the final four contenders POTY 2010 contest, we turned to the highly talented and international renowned photographer, GMB Akash. And here are the final selections, the winning entries of the Aug POTM that will go on to compete for the coveted POTY 2010 title.

About the Judge: Akash has over 40 international awards to his name and his work has been featured in more than 50 major international publications including Time, Marie Claire, Amnesty Journal and PDN. In 2007, he became the first Bangladeshi to be selected for the 30 Emerging Photographers (PDN 30) by Photo District News Magazine, USA and won the coveted the international ‘Travel Photographer of the Year’ in 2009. His recent solo exhibition, Survivors has been on display in China, Italy and Switzerland.
