WINNER!
Debjani Chowdhury, The gift of Magi | Howrah

Akash Das says, “This photograph has a story & a mystery behind it. The old hands and the young hands, both are earthy & the wrinkles, it seems, are a mixture of roots and earth. The tender sapling which is ‘life’ is the only hope for the new generation, is being explained by the experienced hands. It’s a symbolic photograph.” THE PRIZE: Debjani Chowdhury wins the Epson PM235.

Newton Biswas, skeletons
Akash Das says, “This one is again very symbolic and storytelling photograph. The left side of the photograph has dead leafs and the skull on the right top on the dry earth is the reminder that, if you dont take enough care to save the environment ( sapling) , soon, you will be life less too.”
