Certainly it must have been a winner for the theme "DIFFICULT LIFE"..None of the winning image depicts easy life in real here..

I totally agree with Mr. Satsangi, when a theme is given Submitted picture should connected with that. Top award winning photograph may be excellent photo but there is nothing about "Easy life" in it, on the contrary, it shows how difficult life is.

You're right about cropping it so that the attention goes to the napping cobbler.
I wanted to give a context, the people in the background were security watchmen and while they had to be alert, the cobbler appeared to be in his own world, sleeping peacefully. The watchmen were very amused at my interest and it was a pleasant moment, perhaps that's what inclined me to include everyone.

Though, we all need a certain amount of money to live, happiness and peace of mind is not directly proportional to the amount of material acquisitions.
