|  | I am a 28-year-old photographer from Ludhiana, Punjab. Due to bad
financial conditions, I started photography when I was sixteen. I began
with weddings photography. I learnt photography by assisting others.
Later, I got a chance to shoot photos. Good results encouraged me to
buy a camera and start free-lancing. Slowly and steadily I spread my
business with my hard work and determination. When I overcame my
financial difficulties, I bought my first DSLR camera Nikon D200 and
other equipment.
My journey as a photography took a U turn when my work was applauded by professionals like Mr. Rakesh Syal and I got a chance to work with them. I learnt so many things under their guidance. Other friends I would like to mention include Mukesh, Ankur and Harmeet that I met through Fotoflock who along with some other photo sharing sites guided me at every step and kept me updated with the latest news in field of photography. Now, I am running my own business. I am doing other assignments along with weddings. |   | Q&A | | | Why do you think your photo should win the Photo of the Year (POTY) Contest?
I have won POM contest and I think the judging was correct and I am a deserving candidate for POTY contest too.

How long have you been a photographer?
I am doing photography from the past 12 years.
What does photography mean to you?
Photography is my artistic way to express my inner feelings and the only way to present the picture of the world through my eyes.
What does your ideal day with a camera look like?
Every day is an ideal day with my camera.
Why should the flock vote for your photo?
I was inspired by many photographers and learnt from my Fotoflock friends and my mistakes. Prizes, awards and medals won in contests boost my energy to do better in this field. So, I would like to keep my energy level high and I know my flock friends will support me to win this contest too. | |
