About me

I am a 24yr old, serious and passionate photographer from Punjab. I was unknowingly attracted to photography when I saw a photographer in action once and thereafter saw some documentaries on renowned photographers like Steve McCurry, Reza and James Nacthwey the same year. But I was naïve when it came to photography and having grown up in a rural border area there was lack of proper guidance. So until graduation I could not do much to follow my passion for photography. Later, I got a chance to read about the legendary photographers of India like Lala Deen Dayal and Homai Vyarawalla to name a few and that prompted me to enroll myself at the Triveni Kala Sangam (for short term course), Delhi which is run by one of the most celebrated Indian photographers, Mr. O P Sharma.

Now, it’s been three years that I have been experimenting with Art, Craft and Science. I have participated in many photography competitions and my work has been exhibited in salons / clubs throughout India. I have been graded as a bronze exhibitor by the India International Photographic Council and I continue to explore photography to the best of my ability.
