Why do you think your photo should win the Photo of the Year (POTY) Contest?
Winning is not the question... I capture frozen moments from life that are simple and often unnoticed. By capturing these moments I try to share these simple images with people who are often unaware of their surroundings. My role is just to connect people with the simplicity that remains hidden.

Who do you think is your biggest competitor?
Me, of course. No two creative people can be compared or are equal. One only competes with his or her own self which in turn motivates the individual to come up with a better creation.

How long have you been a photographer?
Well I do take photographs and have been doing so for quite some time. My uncle’s NIKON SLR (Don't remember the series number... 1988-89) was my biggest temptation. Then I started the transition from just clicking to playing with light and composition. It took a long time for me to realize that I have turned into a photographer.

What does photography mean to you?
The magic of capturing some moments from the ever flowing life.

What does your ideal day with a camera look like?
Whenever I'm able to sort out some time for myself from the daily mundane work, I set out alone, with my camera as my only companion.
