The flock has done it again! They sure have, for the famous landscape photographer and our Judge this time, Hans Strand was left spellbound with their captivating imagery. But which one stood out from the rest, which picture left a lasting impression on our members, the edit team and the judge.

Hans-Strand About the Judge: Winner of a Hasselblad Master Award, Hans Strand was an engineer before turning to landscape photography. Over the years, Strand has had the entire world at his workplace. Photographing everything from the vast expanses of the Arctic to steaming rain forests and dry deserts. His work has been displayed in numerous exhibitions and published in many international photography magazines.

“I fell for this image directly. Soft and warm colours in the picture are blending nicely together. The yellow turban is in perfect harmony with the colour of the bridge in the background. The composition is classic and tight. Perhaps the image would have been even better if the man had been looking into the camera. Maybe, maybe not?”
