The ‘4Seasons: Insect Beauties’ category of the International Garden Photographer of the Year contest inspired photographers from around the world to submit a variety of incredible photographs.
The contest saw a three way battle for the top spot which was ultimately awarded to ‘In Flight’ by Lotte Andersen Pedersen.The judges admired the way the photographer had taken painstaking efforts to catch the hoverfly in its element, at the right moment and with the right composition.
