Fotoflock.com's Photo of the Year contest is back and all set to begin its extensive search for the best image of the year from the 48 handpicked winners and runners up of the 'Photo of the Month' from September 2010 to August 2011.

The photo of the day is selected by the Editor after browsing through the albums and selecting the best pictures amongst them.

May i know how the PHoto of the day is selected?

You will be happy to know the POTY judging is a combined vote of the flocks, Fotoflock editors and eminent photographers. We will have 3 eminent photographers to judge the contest. So keep yourself glued to your computer screen for further details.

Wouldn't be better/best if the judges were in fact not the people but rather experienced artistes/photographers.
The way trained artistes will look at photograph with a very fine eye on details like framing, balance of elements and color tones. Not merely the subject but an overall look. And he would able to better justify his choice for the winner.
We all would learn a lot in the process :D

In last year POTY, fabulous prizes were there. Hope this year also it will match with the last year.
