Photo feature: Winged wonders by Neloy Banerjee

This week our flock Neloy Banerjee shares some beautiful shots of colourful birds captured through his lens.

Shooting birds is a constant challenge since the subject is usually small, generally not still, moving rapidly from branch to branch, sitting in less than favourable lighting conditions and extremely aware of an approaching photographer. Bird photography can be frustrating as well as rewarding. Most On-The-Go or In-The-Moment Bird photographers will not spend the necessary time need waiting in a blind, a hiding place with the camera which allows to get close to wildlife. There is a fine balance between being in-the-moment, enjoying the mountain climb, taking a walk in the park and bird photography. This week our flock Neloy Banerjee shares some beautiful shots of colourful birds captured through his lens.
