Kolkata Race Course is one of the largest horse race venues in India. It was built in 1820 and is maintained by the Royal Calcutta Turf Club.

Plabon says, “I shot these pictures at the Kolkata Race course ground on 25th December in the afternoon. These photos were taken at the program of Ezra Cup,11(Polo) Organized by Calcutta Polo Club. I used Canon 450D Camera and Canon 18-135 Lens. I tried to take all these clicks by high aperture (around 8 to 16) and high shutter speed (200-1600) too. As the lighting condition was good I was able to keep the ratio by using ISO 400. I did not do much of post work on these photographs. However, for some photos, I used blur effect on the background and selective exposure and gamma correction.”
