Ajay Jain, a full time writer, blogger and photographer based in New Delhi, recently held his photo perspective on Ladakh and other Himalayan regions. He is not limited in his medium of expression, equally comfortable writing for newspapers and magazines, as well as his own books and blogs. We bring you some select images from the exhibition that ran from November 19-21 at Delhi’s India Habitat Centre.

About Ajay Jain:
Switching to writing as a career in 2001, he has been covering business, technology, youth affairs and travel. He has worked for and written columns for national publications in India including The Hindustan Times, Mint, Financial Express, Indian Management, Outlook Business, Mumbai Mirror and Rediff.com. He has also edited a youth newspaper, The Campus Paper.
He has also been at the forefront on the citizen journalism movement in the country. One of the earliest adopters of blogs as a professional, he has been mentoring and training young Indians to take to self published media as a force of change. He is currently the President of the Indian Blog and New Media Society.
Prior to taking up writing, he has worked in the Information Technology and Sports Management sectors. He holds degrees Mechanical Engineering (Delhi College of Engineering, 1992), Management (Fore School of Management, 1994) and Journalism (Cardiff University, UK, 2002). His schooling was in St. Columbaís School in New Delhi.

Peep Peep Don’t Sleep: A humorous travel book, it is a collection of funny road signs and ads spotted by travellers in India. It has been published in November 2008.
